An investment fund, like a savings or checking account, is just a tool to help you reach your goals.  SimpliFi treats it as such—recommending investments only to help you fund your longer-term goals.  For us, the less time you have to spending thinking about investments, the better—so unlike many financial planning services, we don’t give you any information about fund ratings or expense ratios.  We just give you the basics—asset allocation and rates of return.  If you want to be a stock jockey, you probably should find another horse to ride.
